The Eyes Have It!

Rod is a founding member of The Eyes Have It group. The group was organized in 2004.

2006 Shows

The Las Cruces Museum of Art hosted a show of the Eyes Have It group in January of 2006, and the Arts Alliance Gallery in Albuquerque hosted a group show in June. These shows were very well received by local audiences. October 6 - October 22, 2006, the group had its third annual, three week-long exhibition in the Hispanic Arts Building on the New Mexico State Fair Grounds (EXPO New Mexico).

2007 Show

The Eyes Have It group had their 4th. annual show in the Hispanic /Arts Building on the New Mexico State Fair Grounds (EXPO) September 28 - Oct. 14, 2007. The show began with a public reception from 5:00 - 8:00 PM the evening of Sept. 28 and was open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 14. The Eyes Have It artists offer a variety of personal, contemporary views that exhibition visitors found very engaging..

2008 shows

The Eyes Have It group opened a show at the South Broadway Cultural Center in Albuquerque on Feb. 29, 2008. The show ended March 30. All nine artists in the group were represented in the show including Jere Frutchey, one of the group's co-founders, who passed away in November, 2007. We thank Augustine Romero, gallery curator, for working with us on the planning and hanging of the show.

Rod Replogle will open a solo show of his new work in Artspace 116 at 116 Central Ave. in Albuquerque on June 27 with a reception from 5:30 until 7:30 PM. The show will continue through Aug. 8.. The gallery is accessible from Central Ave. by way of a lobby and elevator service to the second floor. The show , entitled, "A Line & Then ..." will consist of new works on and with paper.
